The Permanent Supportive Housing program provides ongoing, site-based and scattered site housing opportunities. Those in need of housing are referred through the county’s Coordinated Entry System by calling Help Network at 330.746.7721 ext. 412. Currently, Beatitude House provides permanent supportive housing for 50 households at any given time. Those referred to us must have a documented, disabling condition; be below income requirements; and be literally homeless by HUD definition.Transitional Housing Program Our transitional housing program, A House of Blessing Ashtabula, offers 10 units of transitional housing at any given time. We have served over 330 individuals experiencing homelessness in Ashtabula County in the past 11 years. Those in need of housing are referred through the county’s Coordinated Entry System. A House of Blessing Ashtabula provides each household with a fully furnished apartment along with supportive services, all on site in the former, renovated St. Joseph School on Lake Avenue. Those we serve typically reside in our program for six months to a year. This pantry has a great impact on our housing clients as well as their neighbors on the West Side of Youngstown. To donate food for our pantry, please call 330-744-3147 Ext. 103.
